Job Title: Teaching Assistant Job Ref: JS2/CV4/TA/(phone number removed) Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a school located in Southwest Coventry on a full-time basis. Our client is looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their staffing team. The school is looking for a long-term Teaching Assistant to join their team to provide 1:1 learning support to a child with Autism. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with SEN. The responsibilities of this Teaching Assistant role will include encouraging the child’s learning and development, delivering interventions, and working closely with SENDCO and the class teacher. The Teaching Assistant role is to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic school year. Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role: Minimum Level 2 Qualification UK school experience Ability to liaise with the class teacher, SENDCO, and other agencies to meet the needs of the pupil. Build effective relationships with pupils and staff. Experience supporting children with SEN. Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the child. The benefits of working as a Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education: Competitive salary of £85.02 - £98.41 per day which equates to £16,578.90 - £19,189.95 per annum based on working 5 days per week. £100 welcome to the team bonus The option of PAYE or Umbrella Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 14.36% of your day rate.
